Gerry “Mac” Clinton McBurney, age 74 of Piedmont, went to see Jesus at 12:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 in Trinity Medical Center, Steubenville.

Born March 10, 1942 in Warren Township, Ohio; he was the son of the late George McBurney and Zelda McBurney Barton.

Gerry worshiped at the Oak Grove Calvary Chapel.

He was a meat manager for Giant Eagle and Krogers in the Akron area his entire life.

Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Donna June Farmer McBurney. They were married February 18, 1961.  Also are surviving are three sons: Greg McBurney, Gordon (Margaret) McBurney, and Grant McBurney; five grandchildren: Ann McBurney, Gary (Jesse) McBurney, Ashley McBurney, Amanda McBurney, and Nathan McBurney, a soon to be born great-grandson, Carter McBurney; two brothers: Dennis (Wanda) McBurney and Bruce (Pam) McBurney and a sister: Sandra McBurney Jefferis.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport.

Services will be held Saturday, September 17 at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Grove Calvary Chapel, on SR 800 South of Smyrna with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating with Pastor Jim Hauser assisting. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
