Elizabeth Jean Gleason, age 70, of Piedmont died unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 10, 2018.
Born March 15, 1948 in Harrison County, she was a daughter of the late Glenn Wilson Luyster and Mary E. Russell Luyster.
She was a graduate of Lakeland High School, Freeport. She retired from Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz where she was a nurse’s aide for twenty plus years.
She is survived by a daughter, Letisha (Larry) Wells of Freeport; four grandchildren: Alicia (Zach) Morehead of Freeport, Kacie Wells of Freeport, Samantha Wells of Freeport, and Larry Wells, Jr. of Freeport; a great-granddaughter, Mercedes Morehead, and a great-grandchild on the way; two brothers and three sisters: Baynard (Joan) Luyster of Navarre, Dorothy (Raymond) Householder of Freeport, Richard (Judy) Luyster, Sue Luyster, and Connie (Mike) Robertson of Columbus.
In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Thompson.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Koch Funeral Home, Freeport where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2018 with Peggy Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hills Cemetery, Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio.
