Emma Miranda Craig Legg, age 76 of 33500 East Main Street, Piedmont died at Community Hospice Truman House at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2018.
She was born November 25, 1941 in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harry Craig and Elva Wilson Craig.
Emma was a graduate of Claymont High School, Uhrichsville. She was a housewife and former employee of Tusco Grocers in Dennison. She made and sold a lot of crafts in her craft shop, Anntie Em’s in Piedmont.
Surviving is her husband, Ralph Edward Legg; adopted daughters: Lora Beamer of Gnadenhutten and Vicki Daughtery of North Manchester, Indiana; a grandson, Matthew Beamer of Gnadenhutten; a sister, Paulette Little of Dennison and a brother, David Craig of Dennison.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Harry Craig and a sister, Margaret Casmire.
Following Emma’s wishes, her body will be cremated and there will be no visitation or services. Burial will take place in Cassville Cemetery, Moorefield Township, Harrison County, Ohio.
