Judith Ethel Cost, age 77 of 81788 Lovers Lane, Tippecanoe, Ohio 44699 died at home on Friday, June 8, 2018.
Born November 15, 1940 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late John Litva and Elizabeth Minnie Hardwick Litva.
She was a graduate from Warren Consolidated High School in 1958 and attended Wheeling Business College, West Virginia for two years.
Judy worked for RCA plant in Cambridge for a couple years and retired from Espenschieds Restaurant in Dover. She enjoyed tending to her gardens and her flower beds, and loved watching birds, especially humming birds. She loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of 57 years, James Alan Cost. They were married September 3, 1960.
Also surviving a son and two daughters: James Alan Cost, Jr. of Bolivar, and Jodie Lee (John) Walton of Tippecanoe, and Janet Elizabeth Pavick of New Philadelphia; eight grandchildren: John Walton, Matthew (Nikki) Walton, Joshua Squires, Jessica (Dakota) Murphy, Sarah (Luke) Pulley, Trenton Cost, Kate (Brandon) Maurer, and Ryan Pavick; five-great-grandchildren: Riley Walton, Noah Walton, Lucas Walton, Cora Pulley, and Brice Murphy; a sister, Barbara Jean Hipkiss of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her puppy, Benny.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Helen Mae Graziano and a brother, John Litva.
Following Judy’s wishes she will be cremated following a private family only viewing and service at Koch Funeral Home, 216 S. High Street, Freeport.
