Larry Raymond Curnutte

February 1, 1987 ~ November 4, 2018 (age 31)

Larry Raymond Curnutte, age 31, died at 6:43 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home in Freeport. Born February 1, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio he was a son of Danny R Curnutte of Stout, Ohio and Donna Fritter of Freeport. 

In 2006 Larry graduated from Harrison Central High School and Belmont-Harrison JVS where he studied auto collision repair. Larry had worked for several area auto body shops and continued his training by attending Sherwin-Williams Painting School in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated in February of 2018 from the Ohio Valley Adult and Teen Challenge, a Christian faith based discipleship program. He was currently employed by Steve Walters Construction.

Growing up Larry was a member of the Freeport Friends 4-H Club and showed dairy cattle at the Harrison County Fair. He enjoyed fishing with his dad, hunting with his late grandpa Larry, and listening to all kinds of music. Larry was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was an amazing uncle and loved family get-togethers and trips to Kings Island.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his siblings: Danny (Laurel) Curnutte, Jr. of Johnstown, Margie (Mike) Mercer of Centerburg and Nathan (Mara Brown) Curnutte of Hopedale;  girlfriend Allie Coe of Freeport; nieces and nephews: Dylan Curnutte , Keaton Curnutte, Gage Mercer, Piper Mercer, and one on the way, Oaklee Grace Curnutte; grandfather George Raymond Curnutte of Stout; aunts and uncles: Jeff (Lee) Fritter, Greg (Linda) Fritter, Brian Fritter, Brenda (John) Daniels, Connie (Pat) Heher, Rick (Patty) Curnutte and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Larry Fritter, Bernice Fritter, Jean Fritter, Opal Curnutte, and Rosemary Curnutte.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S. High Street, Freeport. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 8 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Freeport Volunteer Fire Department, 119 East Main Street, Freeport, Ohio 43973.
