Obituary

Deborah Marie “Deb” Clark, age 65, of 71487 Long Run Road, Piedmont (Guernsey County) Ohio passed away unexpectedly in her sleep from complications following four years of declining health Thursday, August 20, 2026.

She was born June 23, 1961 in Canton, Ohio; a daughter of the late John Norman Miller and Mary Margaret (Peggy) Dunne.

Deb graduated in 1979 from Timken High School in Canton then furthered her education at Stark State receiving a associate Business Degree in 1986.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Delone Clark. They were married October 9, 2001. They would have celebrated twenty-five years of happy marriage this year.

Also surviving are a son, Roland (Krystle) Campbell; two daughters: Christina (Chris) Garaux and Sabrina (Timothy) Duvall; a son, Ian (Linsey) Adams; step-son Gregory (Elaine) Clark; step-daughter Christi (Richard) Sinchak, and step-son, Kenneth (Valerie) Clark; grandchildren: Natalie (Damon), Victoria, Bryce, Dominic, Tyler (Brandi), Kaylee (Jaiden), Christian (Alex), Emily, Presley, Sadie, Drew, Karissa, Gavin, Alexis; three-great-grandchildren: Avery, Poppy, and Cooper; two sisters: Jayne Fitzgerald and Diana (Jim) Kraft; and a brother: John (Elizabeth) Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her lifelong best friend, Kathy (Al) Smith.

Deb worked for the US Postal Service for 37 years as a Clerk and Postmaster starting in 1983 in Canton, Louisville, Cadiz, then finished her career in Freeport.

She and her husband owned and operated Clark Shack Acres, training, breeding, and showing miniature horses and donkeys. They also showed miniature Dachshund and were very successful with both endeavors. They showed the 2013 Grand Champion Mare Miniature Horse “Katrina” (Katie Bug) at Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus.

Deb was the Director of Experiences and OM Reverend at The Violet Rainwater Center in Piedmont, Ohio. She was also a member and Beacon of the Grandmothers Net of Light; and was a practitioner for Access Consciousness.

Following Deborah’s wishes, she will be cremated.

A Celebration of Life at Clark Shack Acres will be planned for and announced at later date.
