Drusilla Ruth (Myers) Toland

Drusilla Ruth "Dru" Toland, age 73, of 33510 Cadiz-Piedmont Road, Piedmont died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in her home.

She was born February 25, 1942 in Harrison County, Ohio. A daughter of the late Harry Forest Myers and Hilda Lenore Brobston Myers.

She was a 1960 graduate of Wayne High School in Bloomingdale. She had a career of over forty years driving truck hauling milk for Toland Milk Transport and was a member of the Piedmont United Methodist Church and the Freeport Order of Eastern Star #319.

Her husband, Ralph "Junior" Toland died March 5, 2015. They were married October 26, 1962 at Unionport United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter Kim Toland of Flushing, son, Michael (Nancy) Toland of Piedmont, and two granddaughters, Chelsea Toland and Kaylee Toland, and a sister, Kathy (Butch) Shuman of Carrollton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Myers and two sisters, Irene Trombetti and Marge Myers.

Visitation will be held in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S. High Street on Thursday, February 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5 with Pastor Wilford Simeral officiating. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
