Janice Charlene (Cunningham) Hogan

Janice Charlene Hogan, 69, of Angleton, Texas passed away at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Webster Kindred Hospital after a 17 month battle with heart related illness.

Mrs. Hogan was born in Kingwood, West Virginia June 27, 1945 the daughter of the late Edward and Wilma Cordner Cunningham.  She was baptized by Rev. Doug Mallernee June 26, 2006 at Leesville Lake, Ohio.

Mrs. Hogan graduated from Lakeland High School in 1963 and continued on to earn her Working with the Confined Elderly Certification, Certified Nursing Assistant and Basic EKG Certification.   She spent 21 years caring for others before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents: Clarence and Sadie Cunningham and Maternal Grandparents: Charles and Fidelia Wagner Cordner.

Surviving is her husband of 47 years Lloyd "Mike" Hogan of Angleton, Texas. They were married July 23, 1966 in the Freeport United Presbyterian Church. Also surviving are two sons: Christopher Allen Hogan of Angleton, Texas and Michael Shawn (Elena) Hogan of Lexington, North Carolina; a grandson, Austin Hogan of Lexington, North Carolina; two granddaughters: Christina Michelle Hogan of Angleton, Texas and Victoria Hogan of Goose Creek, South Carolina; a sister, Donna Jean (Tom) Beule of Poland, Ohio and a brother, Phillip (Glenda) Cunningham of Freeport, Ohio.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. A service and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 26 in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport, Ohio. Dinner and fellowship will follow in the Presbyterian Church in Freeport.
