Linda Joyce Vanfossen, age 79, of 121 South Street, Holloway died peacefully at home at 6:32 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Born September 8, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia; she was a daughter of the late Ralph Harold Williams and Thelma Jean Stamper Williams.

She was a graduate of East Bank High School in East Bank, West Virginia. For ten years, she worked in the Cyber-X computer factory in Willoughby, Ohio. She was a Baptist by faith and she enjoyed watching the Cleveland sports teams on television. Her passion, being a devout Democrat, was watching political shows on MSNBC.

Her husband, Wayne Nemoyne Vanfossen, II died in 2022. They were married November 13, 1972.

She is survived by a daughter, Angie Kellerhall of East Bank, WV; three sons: Shaun Michael Atkins of East Bank, Gary Robert Vanfossen of Holloway, and Wayne Nemoyne Vanfossen III of Holoway; three brothers: Kevin, Harold, and Bobby Williams, all of West Virginia; three grandsons: Jahmere, Seth, and Collin; and six granddaughters: Kelli, Ashley, Emily, Natalie, Soozie, and Seven.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Williams and a grandson, Shaun Michael Atkins.
