Nathan Gary Weaver

Nathan Gary Weaver, age 86, of Canton died Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Arbors at Stow.

Born in Steubenville, Ohio on February 28, 1937, he was a son of the late Benjamin Weaver and Lena Belle Knox Weaver.

Nate was a 1955 graduate of Steubenville High School and attended Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee majoring in physical education.

Nathan worked for Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood, West Virginia for sixteen years and then became the care taker and maintenance man for Fort Steuben Boy Scout Reservation from 1985 to 2003. He also worked for Metropolitan Housing in Cadiz and Orme Hardware in Cadiz.

His wife, Viona Ruth Daiger Carl Weaver, died December of 2020. They were married August 5, 1995.

Surviving are a step-daughters: Toni (Lee) Morris of Canton; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Military Honors and burial will be in Patterson Cemetery, Deersville at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
