Pamela Sue (Aumend) Ferguson

Pamela  Sue Ferguson, age 62 years, of Tippecanoe passed over on Friday, June 3, 2016 at her home with her husband, Randy by her side.

She was born Pamela Sue Aumend to Harry Clayton and Freda Mae Aumend on January 15, 1954 in Bowling Green, Ohio. Pam was a 1972 graduate of St. Clairsville High School.

She married Randy Lee Ferguson on June 10, 1972 and together they shared nearly forty-four years of marriage. They raised two children: Shawn Renee (Brad) Kellar and Chad Edward (Michelle) Ferguson, both of Tappan Lake. Also surviving is a brother, Randy Aumend of Flushing.

Pam was a devout Christian who remained faithful to the Lord her entire life. She was a member of the Deersville United Methodist Church for many years where she taught Sunday School and Bible School. Pam currently attended the Dennison Foursquare Church in Dennison where she was a powerful prayer warrior.

Pam had five grandchildren: Nohl and Gabbie Kellar and Cole, Seth, and Lauren Ferguson. She loved her grandchildren dearly and followed them faithfully in all their endeavors.

Pam was a faithful wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family with all her being. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She especially loved all the sights, smells, and sounds of the season and particularly singing Christmas carols.

She loved her two dogs, Little Ann and Chelsea, and took them virtually everywhere with her. Pam thoroughly enjoyed her trips to Florida and the warm breezes of the ocean. She loved going on long drives and has traveled the countryside with her husband, Randy, visiting all 48 continental states.

She will be remembered for her devout love and loyalty, generosity to others, discerning spirit, lively discussions and trips to the root beer stand on coney day.

Graveside services at Pam's request will be held at Patterson Union Cemetery at Deersville, Ohio at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 with Pam's uncle, Pastor Alan Vanfossen speaking.

Memorial contributions may be made in Pam's memory to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County.
