Ronald Wayne Daugherty

Ronald Wayne Daugherty, age 69, of 75555 McFarland Road, Cadiz died unexpectedly at his home at 6:11 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024.

He was born November 1, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio; a son of the late Robert Daugherty and Betty Stratton Daugherty.

He was a 1973 graduate of Claymont High School. He started driving semi over-the-road and local after graduating and made a lifelong career of truck driving.

Surviving are three sons: Lucas Ryan (Holly) Daugherty of Adena, Jamie (Rhonda) Daugherty of Piedmont, and Matthew (Amy) Harding of North Carolina; four grandchildren: Ayden Daugherty, Isabel Daugherty, Gavyn Daugherty, and Charlee Daugherty; a great-grandson, Andrew; and the mother of his sons, Carlotta Sue Harding Daugherty of the home.

Following Ron's wishes, Koch Funeral Home was entrusted with his cremation arrangements. No services are planned at this time.
