Shirley E (Anno) Davidson

Shirley Elizabeth Davidson, age 84, of Freeport died at 8:20 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 in Astoria Place of Cambridge under Hospice care.

She was born June 15, 1940 in Bowerston, Ohio; a daughter of the late Cecil Anno and Margarette Clark Anno.

She was a 1959 graduate of Conotton Valley High School. She worked a short time at the Scio Pottery and then got married and became a homemaker for the rest of her life. She enjoyed doing word search and jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, especially Solitaire and playing Bingo with her friends at Astoria.  She watched a lot of television.

On June 10, 1967 she married her husband, Stanley Earl Davidson, Jr. in Bowerston, Ohio. He died April 11, 2012.

Surviving are two sons: Stanley Earl Davidson III and Steven C. (Debbie Cole) Davidson, both of Freeport; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by five brothers: Edwin H. Anno, Leroy C. Anno, Robert A. Anno, Richard E. Anno, and Howard C. Anno.

Visitation will be held in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in also in the funeral home on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Peggy Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset View Cemetery in Londonderry Township, Guernsey County, Ohio.
