Vernon Ray "Cody" Fauber

Vernon Ray "Cody" Fauber, Jr. age 59, of 79305 Freeport Tippecanoe Road, Tippecanoe, Ohio died surrounded by family in his home at 8:15 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 after a period of declining health.

He was born October 7, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio; a son of the late Vernon Ray Fauber, Sr. and Hilda Dorothy Hall Fauber.

He was a 1979 graduate of Lincoln West High School in Cleveland.

Cody was employed by Mop and Clean in Garfield Heights as a hazmat cleaning specialist and by the City of Cleveland.

He was a firm believer in the Nazarene Christian Faith. He was very primitive outdoorsy person especially hunting. He had a favorite duck, Clara, and his favorite color was burgundy.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Michelle D. and William McCarthy of Tippecanoe; a brother Owen K. Fauber of Tippecanoe; and two nieces: Uvernona R. McCarthy and her significant other, John Walton IV and Yvonna F. (Jesse) Thompson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Rae Fauber.

Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport was entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
