Christopher Charles Scheutzow

Christopher Charles Scheutzow, age 59, of 105 N Philadelphia Street, Freeport, was pronounced dead at 3:03 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in his residence.

He was born October 17, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio; a son of Sandra Lee Beech Scheutzow of Lakewood, Ohio; and the late Elmer William Scheutzow, Sr.

Chris attended Lakewood High School. He was a truck driver for the Freeport Press for twelve years. He liked to squirrel and deer hunt and in his younger years liked to bird hunt. He will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Rose Schmidt Scheutzow; a daughter, Crystal Ann Malcolm of Freeport; a son, Christopher William Scheutzow of Freeport; three grandchildren: Mia Devoy, Karly Devoy, and Jade Paolino; a sister, Kathy (Mark) Scebbi of Lakewood; a brother, Elmer William Scheutzow, Jr of Lakewood; a niece Michelle (Andy) Shepard, and a nephew Michael (Kathy) Scheutzow.

Following his wishes, Christopher was cremated. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
