Diana Sue McClintock, age 72, of 203 South Street, Holloway died peacefully at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia.
Diana was born December 20, 1948; a daughter of the late George Bernard Hendershott and Juanita Davenport Hendershott.
She was a graduate of Union Local High School. She worked as a custodian for Belmont Career Center and recently was working as the school cook at Harrison Career Center until her health forced her to take leave. The students called her Granny and she loved them all.
Diana enjoyed doing crafts and setting up as a vendor at craft shows.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mitchell Ray McClintock, Sr. They were married January 20, 1968. Also surviving is a son, Mitchell Ray McClintock, Jr. of Holloway.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: George Bernard Hendershott, Jr. and Timothy Joseph Hendershott; and her best friend, Connie Fritter.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport. A service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport.
