Ellen (Regan) Persons

Ellen Regan Persons, age 91, of Lucasville, formerly of the Piedmont area, died at 7:09 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 in Edgewood Manor of Lucasville, Ohio after a long battle with mental health issues.

She was born on March 13, 1930 in London, England.

She completed her education in London and married the love of her life, Lloyd Edward Persons, who was in the US Air Force. Together they had a son, Richard, while they were living in London, before moving to the Piedmont area. Lloyd died March 10, 1988.

Surviving are her son, Richard “Shorty” (Denise) Persons of New Philadelphia and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ellen was cremated and at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 there will be a memorial service officiated by Pastor David Koch, followed by burial in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport.
