Jack Daniel Sudduth, age 60, of 14833 Zane Road, Lore City died at 7:57 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in South Eastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.
Jack was born August 14, 1961 in Martins Ferry, Ohio; a son of James Edward Sudduth, Sr. and the late Linda Lou Moore Sudduth who died November 28, 2020.
He attended school at Buckeye Trail High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force on March 27, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio. He was an Aerospace Ground Equipment Craftsman for fifteen years and two months and a Formal Training Instructor for four years and ten months. He retired and received an Honorable Discharge March 31, 2001 from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio.
Jack lived in Dayton after retirement until moving back home to live with his mom and dad. He also enjoyed playing games on his cell phone.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a brother, James E. (Becky) Sudduth, Jr. of Antrim; a sister, Joy A. Tilton of Cambridge; and five nieces and nephews: Jessica Sudduth of North Carolina, Amos Sudduth of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jacob Sudduth of Antrim, Richard Hatcher of Cambridge, and Michael Hatcher of Cambridge; and two great-nieces: Karrah Hatcher of Cambridge and Dakada Hatcher of Cambridge.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jack Tilton.
Following Jack’s wishes he was cremated.
Military honors will be conducted by the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton and the Guernsey County Veterans Council at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 in Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, Ohio.
