Jeffrey Lee Currence

Jeffrey Lee Currence, age 67, 30600 Norris Road, Tippecanoe, died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Highlands Regional Medical Center, Sebring, Florida.

He was born September 6, 1953 in Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio; a son of the late Charles L. Currence and Dorothy Madeline Cunningham Currence.

Jeff was a graduate of Lakeland High School in Freeport and Diesel College in Nashville, Tennessee. He worked at Ohio CAT in Cadiz for several years and retired with a medical disability about ten years ago from an injury received while truck driving.

Jeff’s passion was attending flea markets and auctions.

Surviving are four children: Jeremy Currence of Minerva, Kylee Briones of Canton, Jessica Currence of Cadiz, and Justin Currence of Cadiz; a brother, Calvin Currence of Tippecanoe; a sister, Patricia (Jim) Russell of Stone Creek; several grandchildren, and a good friend, Dave Jones of Florida.

Calling hours will be held in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021. Graveside Service and Burial will follow at approximately 12:30 p.m. in Patterson Union Cemetery, (Deersville) Franklin Township, Harrison County, Ohio with Pastor Jim McConnell officiating.
