Linda Louise Lake, age 77 of 23118 Cadiz Road, Freeport, Guernsey County, Ohio and also of Haines City, Florida during the winter months died peacefully at home at 1:22  a.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born January 8, 1944 in Cambridge, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Orville Welcome Foraker and Gertrude Leona Hayes Foraker.

Linda attended Byesville High School. She was employed by NCR, Motorola, Fuel Mart, and Shenandoah Inn. Most of her working days she was a waitress. She was a member of the Londonderry United Methodist Church and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, trapping, and corn hole.

Her husband of 22 years, Terry Ray Lake survives. They were married August 8, 1998.

Also surviving are four sons and two daughters: Jeff (Norma) Funk of Cambridge, Tanya (Dennis) Pacanas of Cambridge, Charles (Deanna) Lake of Senecaeville, Terry R. Lake, Jr. of Cambridge, Kelby (Michelle) Lake of Verona, Missouri, and Bobbi Sue Lake of Londonderry, a brother, Hughlin (Francis) Foraker of Freeport; a sister Bonnie (Jon) Blankenhorn, Quaker City; sixteen grandchildren: Shayne DelRosario, Shaelyn DelRosario, Shailee DelRosario, Kailea Pacanas, Kianani Pacanas, Brittany Funk, Harley Shugart, Brendon Lake, Lailah Lake, Kyland Lake, Kiah Lake, Jocelyn Lake, Jenny Lake, Rylie Lake, Seth Lake, and Kalena Pacanas; seven great-grandchildren: Lilly, Kaden, Skyleigh, Ashlynn, Brennan, Serenity, and Kaydence; her mother-in-law, Helen Lake of Freeport; her best friend, Linda Harper of Quaker City; and crazy neighbor, Janice Campbell of Arizona.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Foraker and Russell Foraker; and grandparents: Lafayette and Nancy Foraker and James and Losia Hayes.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport. A service will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 also in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Karen Osborn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset View Cemetery, Londonderry Township, Guernsey County, Ohio.
