Mary Edna (McCoy) Kidd

Mary Edna Kidd, age 90, of 70974 Flushing Morristown Road, Flushing died peacefully at home at 1:20 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019.

          She was born July 20, 1929 in New Athens, a daughter of the late Ralph Matson McCoy and Bessie Nelson McCoy. Mary was a 1947 graduate of Franklin High School in New Athens and was a member of the Flushing United Methodist Church.

          Her husband, Robert Jacob Kidd, died in 1995. They were married November 1, 1948.

          Surviving are a son, Robert “Jake” (Judy) Kidd of Flushing, a son-in-law, Dennis Vincenzo of Flushing; five grandchildren: Robert Kidd, David (Maritza) Kidd, LeeAnn (Larry Lunsford) Vincenzo, Karen (Steven) Norman, and Max (Sarah) Vincenzo; a special grandson, Angelo (Nicole) Vincenzo; nine great-grandchildren: Cameron Kidd, Petra Kidd, Pilar Kidd, Zion Vincenzo, Alex Norman, Landon Norman, and Piper Vincenzo, Easton and Halle; a special great-grandson, AJ Vincenzo; a great-great-granddaughter, Waylynn Cork; and her two best friends, Yellowbelly and Black and White.

          In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Vincenzo in 2012; a brother, Nelson R. McCoy, a sister, Glenna McCoy; her infant twin brother Edwin, and three infant children.

          Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Flushing United Methodist Church, 301 High Street, Flushing, Ohio 43977. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with her son, Jake Kidd and Pastor Al Hoder officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio.
